eServer i5
IBM's POWER5-based product line for IBM i (then i5/OS) workloads, the direct descendant of the AS/400, later renamed System i.
The eServer i5 was IBM's brand name for its POWER5-based IBM i systems starting in 2004, machine types in the 9406 series. IBM renamed the line System i in 2006, and it was absorbed into the unified Power Systems brand in April 2008.
