Runs with IBM iYes ... Minimum i5/OS V5R3. Needs an IOP. It supports mirroring but will not start RAID-5 or RAID-6 unless the auxiliary cache card is attached (#5582).

POWER5 only in the sources checked. IBM lists the 520, 525, 550 and 570 processor enclosures and 595 system units, and notes that POWER6 processor enclosures do not take IOP cards. #5777 is the same card run without an IOP. IBM writes 'Model 520' without a machine type, so both 520 types are listed.
